Divorce without
children or property:

If you don’t qualify for a simple divorce and have nothing to divide.

LDA fee:	$450.00

Divorce with children
and/or property:

Both parties have agreed to all issues including child custody, visitation and support, and/or division of community assets or debts. This fee includes a Marital Settlement Agreement. Lengthy agreements may require an extra fee with your approval.

LDA fee:	$500.00

Summary Dissolution:

This is usually referred to as a “simple” divorce. To qualify for a Summary Dissolution you must meet all of these requirements with no exceptions: Married less than 5 years, no children, no real property, total value of assets are less than $32,000.00 (excluding automobiles) and total debts are less than $4,000.00 (excluding automobiles) and both parties are willing to sign a Joint Petition.

Divorce that
is contested:

The parties are not able to work out the issues and want the court to decide the conflict and issue orders effective in 6 months. An Order to Show Cause hearing may be filed to get court orders within 6-8 weeks.

LDA fee:	Add $150.00 to the above fees
OSC hearing:	Add $250.00 to the above fees
Court filing fee:	$36.30 *

Legal Separation:

The parties want orders to be made for any applicable issues that a divorce may have, but wish to remain married.

The LDA and filing fees are the same as for a divorce.

Nullity:

Formerly called an annulment. The court sets a hearing to determine if you have grounds to be granted a nullity.

LDA fee:	$600.00
Court filing fee:	$320.00 *

Modification:

Modifies child or spousal support, custody, visitation or property orders with an Order to Show Cause hearing.

LDA fee:	$400.00
Court filing fee:	$36.30 (if initial filing fee was paid)

Paternity Action:

Legally establishes the biological father. Custody, visitation and support orders are made by the court.

LDA fee:	$450.00
Court filing fee:	$320.00 *

Termination of
child support:

When a child turns 18 and a child support order needs to be terminated.

LDA fee:	$300.00
Court filing fee:	none
